I've had the chance to play audience to my children, yes. Admittedly, I don't watch with the same eyes as a normal audience member. Lyney and Lynette have taken magic performance seriously from a very young age, so I've seen every trick in the book, and then some. At this point, the reactions of the crowd hold more of my interest.
Certainly. The variables involved are endless. The time of day, whether food and drink are involved, audience capacity, ticket price, venue location... All of these things will influence an audience's mood and disposition. Much more still will change following a grand reveal or harrowing development on stage. Shock tends to be quite the equalizer.

A dear friend of mine is a thorough observer as well; he often informed me of things about myself that I had yet to notice. It's an admirable skill, and one that I've found requires much patience to master. [ Does she have that patience? Probably. The time? Not until recently. Maybe here, though. ]
