Oh. I suppose you're right. Fortunately, I'm happy to report that my car has not seen any further troubles since our meeting. I hope you have been well?
Indeed I have. I like to think I'm fairly adaptable. I've even found myself with a surplus of free time. I don't suppose you have any hobbies you might recommend?
My hobbies were not so extraordinary, as I had little time to spend on them. On occasion, I might visit the opera house and catch the newest production. My homeland placed great emphasis on theatre and performance. In fact, two of my children are performers themselves. Stage magicians, and by all metrics doing rather well for themselves.
I did hear there was some kind of theater in the Pavilion... though I cannot speak to what kind of shows they perform. [ This is because they're films and not shows, but she'll learn that eventually. ] But ah, did you have the opportunity to watch your children's performances as well? Back at home, I mean.
You must mean LuxFilms. Worth a visit. Only keep in mind that the audience etiquette leaves much to be desired.
[ She'll be one of those people visiting in the dead of night if it means she can avoid the yapping from the moviegoers... ]
I've had the chance to play audience to my children, yes. Admittedly, I don't watch with the same eyes as a normal audience member. Lyney and Lynette have taken magic performance seriously from a very young age, so I've seen every trick in the book, and then some. At this point, the reactions of the crowd hold more of my interest.
Certainly. The variables involved are endless. The time of day, whether food and drink are involved, audience capacity, ticket price, venue location... All of these things will influence an audience's mood and disposition. Much more still will change following a grand reveal or harrowing development on stage. Shock tends to be quite the equalizer.
[ Takes too many minutes typing this out on her numeric keypad. Keeps typing... ]
You strike me as someone too courteous to stare at people, but I find it a fantastic exercise. I recommend it.
[ Oh good Arlecchino is also suffering at the fate of T9 typing welcome to hell. ]
A dear friend of mine is a thorough observer as well; he often informed me of things about myself that I had yet to notice. It's an admirable skill, and one that I've found requires much patience to master. [ Does she have that patience? Probably. The time? Not until recently. Maybe here, though. ]
Just so. That you can recognize it as a skill speaks to your good judgment. If you'd ever like to hone that skill, you have only to ask. You may find it more useful than ever in a land full of thieves and swindlers.
I would be honored. But ... you must allow me to do something for you in return. I will not continue to take advantage of your kindness without some form of repayment.
If there's something I could do in your stead, or if you needed a fighter at your side, I would be happy to do either. Alternatively, much of this world seems to operate by exchanging joolies.
Noted. I have no need for any of those services or joolies at the moment, but I'll certainly let you know if I do. And if I happen to accumulate more favors in the meantime, I'll be sure to collect accordingly when the time comes. Worry not.
[ Back home, most people would get extremely nervous about owing The Knave favors, but here's Lucina insisting. What a time. ]

Do the reactions change drastically between each performance?
